BKOD Submission FAQs

What kind of titles are considered for Brooklyn On Demand?
  • We consider indie shorts, features and series (in all genres), performance videos (music, comedy, drama, experimental) even things like cooking shows and interviews.
  • If a film has screened at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, it is automatically eligible.
  • We program non-exclusive titles, meaning they may be online anywhere (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
  • All our titles stream 100% free.
  • We watch every title submitted to BKOD.

How much is it to submit?
  • It is $15 to submit one film. All proceeds support the missions of BKOD and AoBFF.
  • If you have paid to submit to AoBFF in the past (whether or not your film was selected), there is no fee to submit to BKOD. Future paid submissions to AoBFF include free submission to BKOD.

How is our License Agreement set up?
  • You must have the rights to stream the work, and to use all copyrighted material in your film (music especially.)
  • You give BKOD permission to stream your work.
  • You may remove your film from BKOD at any time with 1 week advance notice.

How do I submit my film?
  • Go here and fill out the form completely. You must complete all the steps to be considered.
