Brains"Brains" is an original Brooklyn web series set after a three year zombie apocalypse on a college campus. 23-year-old Alison Sumner (Bri Castellini) is a neuropsychology student with a zombie (Carl Markham) as a best friend, who spends her time doing research about the zombie plague and crushing on a fellow student (Damian Phillips). Alison "vlogs" her quest to seduce her crush as an independent study art project, as well as her life post apocalypse. In addition to being featured as an official selection in over fourteen film festivals all over the world, in 2016 Brains won “Best Web Series” at the 2016 Bloody Horror International Film Festival. Bri Castellini is the creator and writer.

The Brains Extended Universe:
Apocalypse Yesterday, written by Brains creator Bri Castellini and directed by her brother, Vinny Castellini, is set in apocalyptic Los Angeles, following a group of roommates lamenting the fall of society and reflecting on their new routines. It stars Raina Deerwater, Ryan Smythe, Ben Ellenberg, and Max Friedlaender.
dusk of the dead, co-written by Bri Castellini and RJ Davies, is set and produced in Wales. The miniseries chronicles two siblings reuniting after years of separation due to the plague outbreak, and stars Olivia Carass, RJ Davies, Tom Stickler, and Erin Stewart.
Both projects exist within the “main” universe established by the first two seasons of Alison Sumner’s vlog, and both reference her videos as inspiration.
